Canadian Poutine

Canadian Poutine Gravy

42 g. Orange Crate Canadian Poutine mix
2 cups cold water
Lg. bag of fries
2 cups Cheese curds (more if desired)

 Cook fries as per instructions on the bag (deep fried or oven baked)
In a sauce pan, combine cold water and 42g of Poutine mix.
Whisk together and cook on high heat until sauce thickens (about 3mins). Reduce heat to low and whisk an additional 2 minutes. Divide fries into 4 portions on plates or bowls. Top with cheese curds and hot Poutine sauce.

Cajun Shrimp Recipe from Orange Crate

Cajun Shrimp

1 1/2 pounds large shrimp, peeled and
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
2 heaping tablespoons of Orange Crate Cajun Shrimp Spice

Combine Orange Crate seasoning and shrimp in a sealable plastic bag and coat the shrimp. Item #10882 - Cajun Shrimp

Heat oil in a large non-stick skillet over medium high heat. Cook and stir shrimp in hot oil until they are bright pink on the outside and the meat is no longer transparent in the center, about 4 minutes.

Spinach & Onion Hot Dip - Recipe

 Spinach & Onion Hot Dip

¾ cup (185ml) Sour Cream
¼ cup (65ml) Mayonnaise
1 heaping tbsp (9g) Spinach & Onion Dip Mix
¼ cup (65ml) Finely Chopped Onion
1/8 cup (30ml) Sundried Tomato Finely Chopped
¼ cup (65ml) Frozen, Chopped Spinach, thawed and drained
1 clove garlic minced

Mix all ingredients together and top with grated cheese. Place in ovenproof dish and bake at 350° (176°C) for 30 minutes until top is set.
Serves 6-8.

Tandoori Chicken recipe from Orange Crate

Recipe for the day:

Tandoori Chicken Spice: Part of our International Series Collection

12 drum sticks or thighs
2 tbsp (30g) Orange Crate Tandoori Chicken Spice
2 cups (500ml) Plaiun Yogurt
Marinade for 12 bone-in chicken drum sticks or thighs. Wash chicken with water. Mix together 2 tbsp (30g) Orange Crate Tandoori Chicken Spice and 2 cups (500ml) Plain Yogurt. Marinade Chicken in mix for 4 hours or for best results overnight in a bowl or resealable plastic bag, store in the refrigerator. Preheat BBQ or grill to 400 F (205 C). Spray BBQ with cooking spray to create non-stick surface. Cook chicken for approximately 30 minutes, 15 minutes on each side. Chicken is done when juices are no longer pink. Packaging yields 1 serving for 4-6 people.
