Great new recipe from Orange Crate

Tapenade


Takes 5 - 10 minutes to prepare!

1 cup (250 g / 8 oz.) pitted ripe black olives, drained.
1 cup (250 g / 8 oz.) manzanilla green olives with pimento, drained.
1 heaping tbsp  (20 ml) of Orange Crate Tapenade seasoning (#OC10920 - $3.55- approximately 4 uses from one package)
1 clove of garlic, finely chopped
1 tsp capers (optional)
1/3 cup red bell pepper chopped
30 ml (2 tbsp) extra virgin olive oil.

Combine olives, oil, garlic, capers and Tapenade seasoning in a blender or food processor.  Pulse and mince into a coarse paste, use a spatula to ensure all ingredients are combined.

Refrigerate for one hour to let the flavours blend. Serve in Orange Crate Brie Baker or other serving dish.  Garnish with fresh sprigs of Parsley.  Serve on crackers, baguette or on tiny toasts.

Delicious when served as a condiment with chicken or fish.
